[epilogue]

"It's good. It's really good, sweetie." JC said, straightening Caitlin's manuscript and putting it on the table beside him.
"Don't hold out on me, Josh." Caitlin said, chewing the inside of her cheek worriedly. "I need critique."

"It doesn't need any." JC replied. "I love it. The characters, the settings, everything is perfect. Just like you." He said, pulling her across the bed and wrapping his arms around her.

"You're just sucking up so I'll do that thing you like." Caitlin said with an evil grin.

JC laughed, and Caitlin could hear it rumble through his chest as she laid her head down. "Very funny. But it really is fantastic. Just like you."

"Schmooze." Caitlin joked. "Don't you have soundcheck soon?" Caitlin asked as JC snaked his hands up her shirt, running his fingers along her back softly.

"No." JC lied.

"Yes." Caitlin replied. "C'mon, working man. You have to support me somehow, now that I'm not working. Get out there and make momma some money." She said, sitting up.

JC laughed again, and pulled her back down to lie beside him. "In a minute…" He said, nibbling on her earlobe.

"The last time you were late…" Caitlin admonished.

"Caitlin?" JC said.

"What?" She replied.

"Shut up and kiss me."

Caitlin looked into his eyes, unable to resist the twinkling in them or the grin on his face. Wordlessly, she pressed her lips to his, utterly forgetting the time, the soundcheck, even the tour.

Everything but JC.

Sighing deeply, she fell back onto the bed as his lips captured hers again and again. She couldn't help but whisper "I love you" as he rained kissed on her collarbone, her neck and her lips.

"I love you too, baby."
